CONSULTING - Haymarket People's Fund

Haymarket Peoples’ Fund is an anti-racist and multi-cultural foundation that is committed to strengthening the movement for social justice in New England. Through grantmaking, fundraising, and capacity building, Haymarket supports grassroots organizations that address the root causes of injustice. Haymarket also organizes to increase sustainable community philanthropy throughout our region.

SmartMeme is supporting Haymarket in launching their new booklet, which aims to tell the stor(ies) of Haymarket's anti-racism journey of the last decade, and offer a glimpse into their innovative anti-racist practices. Haymarket is producing this resource to both document their organization’s unique history, and inspire other organizations and foundations to embrace undoing racism principles. Digging at the roots of racism, and showing the sector a case study of anti-racist philanthropy, presents a powerful opportunity for transformative change that could spark important conversations and interventions. SmartMeme is proud to be supporting Haymarket in developing a story-based strategy for outreach around this project.
