COLLABORATIVE - California Climate & Water

Climate change is disrupting watersheds and weather patterns across the west, and water is rapidly emerging as a key front in the climate crisis.  These changes are intensifying struggles for justice, access, democracy and ecological sanity, and change is needed in water policy across California.

SmartMeme is facilitating a story-based strategy process for a cross-cutting alliance of environmental justice, environmental, tribal and faith-based groups to change the story in this changing climate, and to protect California's waters (and all who depend on them to live.)

Co-conveners in the process include leaders from the Sierra Nevada Alliance, Environmental Justice Coalition for Water, Community Water Center, Southern California Watershed Alliance, Planning and Conservation League, Clean Water Action and the Environmental Water Caucus.
