Nijmie Dzurinko, Training Program Coordinator

Nijmie wakes up everyday thinking about her role in the process of bringing about liberation for the world's 7 billion people and the planet itself. That's a lot to think about, so she offsets it by cooking some really amazing meals and posting pictures of them on Facebook. A movement strategist, organizer, and communicator, Nijmie co-founded the Media Mobilizing Project in 2005, served as the Executive Director of the Philadelphia Student Union from 2006-2012, and is currently working to launch Put People First PA, a statewide people power movement uniting poor and working people across the state of Pennsylvania.
